After a snow storm easter morning here in Goderich the cab windows of 1401 have iced over making a neat effect. The engine is in for some control stand repairs as you can see.

The snow storm starts as GEXR 581 pull past the power lineup at Stratford before departing for Goderich. F-Units in 2007 in mainline service, what a treat!
After leading 581 from Stratford and setting off grain empties at the Goderich grain elevator, the 1401 climbs back onto the 3% grade before easing into the Sifto Salt Mine.
